Jim
Nelson's work has appeared in fantasy role-playing games, books and magazines.
He has been represented in the juried annual “Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art” as both an
artist and art director. He claims artistic influences from Rembrandt to
Wrightson, and contemporary fantastic artists like De Es Schwertberger and
Zdzislaw Beksinski rank among his favorites.
