Appalachian author discusses newly published Depression era memoir |
Author Kenneth A. Tabler rose from a poor, sleepy milltown
in West Virginia and propelled himself to a PhD and a high profile career with
that newly invented thing called "the computer." This book reads folksy without being sentimental
about the very real people it depicts struggling to live through the Depression
& its aftermath.
